Bangladesh’s top brand Walton is continuing its extensive works as it has eyed to become one of the top global brands by 2030. To achieve the target, Walton has been exporting products to over 40 countries and recently got the rights of three European brands. Walton has also set-up its branches with establishing research and innovation (R&I) center in many countries including Germany, United Kingdom, and South Korea etc. Walton is regularly participating in many international trade fairs. Walton has taken part in the Chillventa Exhibition in Germany this year for the second consecutive time with displaying many of the products of its European brand ACC.

First organized in 2008, the Chillventa Exhibition is one of the most important global trade fairs and is being held at the Nürnberg Convention Center in every two years. Renowned organizations around the world who manufacture refrigerator, compressor, air conditioner, ventilation and heat pumps participate in the fair. Walton first took part in the fair in 2018.

This year, the Chillventa Exhibition is being held from October 11 to 13 with Walton is allocated a stall numbering 306 at the 7A Hall of the fair. Residential air conditioner, VRF, chiller, compressor, industrial solution and other products of ACC brand manufactured in the state-of-the-art Walton production plant are being showcased in the fair.

On Tuesday (October 11) in its opening day, Managing Director and CEO of Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC. Golam Murshed has observed the Chillventa Exhibition and Walton stall through video-conferencing from Dhaka. He has given necessary directives to the officials concerns there at that time.

A team consisting senior officials of Walton including AC’s chief business officer (CBO) Tanvir Rahman, Compressor’s CBO Rabiul Alam, Head of Compressor’s R&I Meer Muzahedin Islam, Head of Residential AC R&I Ariful Islam, Head of Commercial AC R&I Shamim Akter Mugdho and Global Business Division officer Hasibul Haque are now staying in Germany to present the ACC products and services in front of visitors in the fair.

According to the data of concerned authorities, a total of 63% of the customers-visitors of the Chillventa Exhibition come from the EU nations while 17% others come from remaining countries in Europe. 15% of customers-visitors come from Australia, Asia and Africa and 6% of them visit the fair from America. The data also shows that 93% of the exhibitors who showcased their products can create new business areas through this fair.

Tanvir Rahman said that the ACC stall has become prime attraction of visitors in the fair from the very first day. Customers-visitors from different countries including Europe are visiting the Walton stall. The ACC brand products of Walton are getting huge praises innovative design, latest technology and international standard.

He also says, Walton’s target is to expand market in the developed countries including Europe and America. We expect that Bangladesh will soon become the hub of technology products and Chillventa Fair will play vital role in this regard. Walton is expected to get huge export orders through this trade fair.
